We've all encountered people who are adept at quoting volumes of Scripture, but whose lifestyle doesn't match up to it. On the other hand we also know those who may not know nearly so much, but in whom Jesus is clearly seen.
Jesus wants me to grow in my knowledge and understanding of His Word, but unless that Word is bearing fruit in my life, I am not a true disciple of His.
